Meanwhile, Book 2 is simply writing itself...I believe...we haven't been in touch for a while but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Hee! Great post, and fab looking cake. I only wish my own procrastination resulted in such a way. Sadly I tend to faff on t'internets rather than create anything.

Sara, I have to confess: number of cakes baked = 1, number of hours faffing on t'internets = CANNOT COMPUTE, OVERLOAD, REPEAT, OVERLOAD...etc
Rosy, I'm going to have a peek at my word doc later and see how it's getting on...I'll let you know.
Do you think there will be any of that left next week? I shall be dropping by for a cup of tea.
Andrew, this cake is not a hanging around cake - it will be gone by tonight. If next week is like this week, I will bake another. But if by chance I manage to put my writing head back on, it'll have to be Hobnobs.
